Journey to the Emerald City comes to Kickstarter

What happens when the exploration and puzzle-solving of an adventure game move off the screen? Journey to the Emerald City is the Oliver Twins’ first Active Brain Game: a physical adventure inspired by L. Frank Baum’s original 1900 story.

You become the hero of the journey. An illustrated interactive storybook works alongside a 52-card Adventure Deck, a cipher wheel and a sealed fold-out map, with an activity puzzle book and other pieces to discover. It is designed for ages eight and up, to play alone or together.

The Kickstarter campaign launched on 29 September 2026 and is scheduled to close at 8:30pm BST on Tuesday 20 October. It is raising support for the first production run. The campaign also includes a Dizzy badge with physical pledges, connecting this new adventure with a familiar favourite.
